How long have you been involved in music and how did you decide to start?
Vitagi has been present in my life. My music education began at the age of 7 with classical piano lessons. But in fact, my relationship with music started as a very young child, when melodies sounded in me and at night I woke up my mother with a request to record them.
Which song do you remember most vividly from your childhood?
Who are the artists you have listened to and played the most?
As a teenager I listened a lot to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin ... music from the 60's. Later Michael Jackson, Queen, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. While at later stage jazz (vocal as well as instrumental) totally captivated me.
In which musical style are you most advanced?
Jazz and pop.
What does music give you?
Music is my inspiration, vocation, passion and meaning.
Why did you decide to start teaching music?
It is a joy and a pleasure for me to pass on what I have learned over the years to those who are just embarking on this magical journey into the world of music.
What is the most important thing to learn in music?
There are many things, but perhaps the key word is a devotion as well as perseverance. Because everything is achieved with patience and practice. Of course, there must be a dose of talent. ☺
What is your most valuable teaching skill?
Patience and individual approach. Also, the whole process should be in the form of fun and this is what I strive for in my work.
What is RockSchool for you?
A new opportunity for a new beginning in my musical path.
Which music is valuable to you?
The one that comes from the soul.
What's the most extravagant thing you've heard lately?
Few things can surprise me. Maybe music is not an imitation of something that already exists.
If we talk about the Bulgarian scene, I was pleasantly surprised by Svilen Noev's original album, as well as Stanley's return with a new album and especially the song "Foreign Bodies" and a jazz band "SoulBmoll".
Do you have a dream related to music?
To continue to create, to record and publish my own music, to develop as a musician in various collaborations and of course to pass on my experience to my students.
